The incense holder is used to burn incense resins on top of incense charcoal . When burned, the resin releases a fragrance, creating a peaceful atmosphere that supports meditation and concentration.

We also offer incense charcoal and various incense resins.

Instructions for burning incense resin

Supplies

Step 1: Preparation

  1. Location: Place the incense burner on a flat, heat-resistant surface, such as a metal tray or ceramic plate. Make sure the area is well ventilated.
  2. Fill the tray (optional): You can add sand or salt to the bottom of the incense tray. This will help disperse the heat and collect the ash.

Step 2: Lighting the incense charcoal

  1. Place the incense charcoal: place the charcoal tablet on the grate, in the middle of the incense burner
  2. Light the incense charcoal: Light the edge of the charcoal tablet with a match or lighter. When lit, the charcoal will start to spark and glow, but there will be no flame. When the surface of the charcoal turns grayish, it is ready to use. This may take a few minutes.

Step 3: Placing the incense resin

  1. Add resin: Once the charcoal tablet is evenly lit and settled, you can add a small amount of incense resin to the tablet. You can use tongs or a spoon to do this.

Step 4: Enjoy the scent

  1. Enjoy the scent: the resin will begin to melt and release fragrant smoke, filling the space with a pleasant aroma.
  2. Monitor the burning: make sure the incense holder is always supervised while burning. Never leave burning incense unattended.

Step 5: End of use

  1. Allow to cool: Once the resin has burned out, allow the carbon tablet to cool completely before discarding it.
  2. Remove the ash: Once the charcoal tablet and ash have cooled, you can remove them from the incense holder and dispose of them safely.

Safety tips

  • Use a heat-resistant base: Always place the incense holder on a heat-resistant surface.
  • Avoid flammable materials: Make sure the base is away from flammable materials.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets: Make sure the incense holder is in a place that children and pets cannot reach.
  • Ensure ventilation: make sure the room is well ventilated to allow the smoke to evaporate and keep the air fresh.

With these instructions, you can enjoy the calming and purifying effects of frankincense resin safely and effectively.
