ONLINE STORE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions are effective as of September 4, 2023.
GENERAL TERMS
Welcome to the online store of Semiphoras Ltd (Business ID: 3341389-9). These terms and conditions constitute the agreement between Semiphoras Ltd and the customer and apply to purchases made through Semiphoras Ltd's online store. Semiphoras Ltd sells products for symbolic and ritual use to individuals who are of legal age. Our online store operates on the Shopify platform, which provides the e-commerce platform for the sale of our products and services. Our products should not be used for illegal or unauthorized purposes, and the use of our services must not violate the laws of the jurisdiction. Semiphoras' products range from brand-new items to antiques and ancient artifacts that may be thousands of years old, so their condition and appearance can vary greatly. Therefore, these items may have minor surface imperfections such as wear, cracks, chips, dust, dirt, etc. All prices for products in the online store are listed in Euros (€) and include a value-added tax of 24%. The breakdown of taxes is visible in the shopping cart and order confirmation.
The subscriber must provide their name, address, email address, and mobile phone number when placing an order. Information regarding orders will be communicated to the subscriber's email address. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the personal and other order information provided in the online store order form is accurate and complete. It is the customer's responsibility to verify and review the accuracy of all aspects of their order before submitting it and making payment. A binding order is formed when the customer receives an order confirmation via email from Semiphoras Oy's online store. We retain ownership rights to the ordered product until the customer has paid for it in full. Purchasing from Semiphoras's online store does not require registration.
We have made every effort to accurately describe our products and their colors. However, we cannot guarantee an exact match of colors displayed on computer or mobile device screens. Product descriptions include measurements or volumes, additional information about our products, and possible uses. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sale of our products and services to certain individuals, geographic regions, or legal jurisdictions. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of products or services we offer.
The online store and its contents (including images, text, service and product information, trademarks, videos, logos, and tables) are the copyrighted property of Semiphoras Oy or their partners, and unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.
PRICES OF ONLINE STORE PRODUCTS
Products are charged based on the prices in effect at the time of ordering. The stated prices are valid indefinitely or for the specified period indicated in the online store product information. Product prices do not include delivery charges, which are specified separately during the ordering process and in the order confirmation. Delivery charges are determined based on the chosen delivery method.
Semiphoras's online store reserves the right to change product prices. Semiphoras has the right to review the discounts given to customers for online store purchases if customers return products. Semiphoras aims to present all prices in the online store accurately and up-to-date but does not provide any guarantee of the correctness of prices. In quantity discounts, such as buy 3, pay for 2 promotions, we offer the cheapest product for free.
We are not responsible to the user or any third party for any modifications, price changes, interruptions, or discontinuations of the service.
AVAILABILITY OF ONLINE STORE PRODUCTS
Semiphoras offers a diverse range of products in its online store, but the quantities and availability of these products may vary. Semiphoras does not provide any guarantees regarding the availability or sufficiency of the products sold in the online store. Some products are entirely unique individual items or products produced in limited quantities. Products in the standard selection may also run out of stock due to production-related reasons.
ORDERING AND CONTRACT
You can order products from Semiphoras' online store by adding them to your shopping cart, confirming the order, and paying for the contents of the cart through the payment service. When ordering from our online store, you are expected to have read and agreed the currently applicable delivery terms. You understand that the order you accept and confirm is binding and constitutes a contract with us, subject to the provisions regarding the right of withdrawal mentioned later, in accordance with these delivery terms.
For digital products (courses, online courses, etc.), the download link can be obtained immediately after the payment transaction at the online store checkout. It is also available in the order confirmation email. The order confirmation specifies the expiration date of the download link. A digital product can be downloaded only once.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
After a successful and accepted payment transaction, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email, containing essential order details. The customer is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information provided in the order confirmation. Semiphoras reserves the right to decline orders for justified reasons.
SHIPPING METHOD AND DELIVERY COSTS
Semiphoras's online store uses Posti.fi (Posti Group Corporation) for order delivery. Orders are delivered to the customer as packages at a delivery service point based on the mail address provided by the customer. Semiphoras aims to dispatch products that are in stock at the time of ordering to the customer within approximately 2-5 business days from the receipt of the order. Semiphoras is not responsible if the delivery is delayed or cannot be completed due to incorrect contact information provided by the customer to Semiphoras's online store, or if the customer is not present at the agreed-upon delivery time and cannot be reached. Delivery costs include delivery and packaging expenses. The delivery costs are specified when proceeding to the checkout, where you can still add or remove items from your shopping cart. Generally, the products from a single order are delivered all at once. If necessary, orders containing multiple products may be sent in multiple packages, which could result in not all products arriving simultaneously. However, for environmental reasons, we always strive to deliver the entire order at once. International orders are also delivered through Posti.fi delivery services, unless otherwise agreed with the customer.
Semiphoras provides the customer with the Posti.fi shipment tracking code by email. The progress of the delivery can be monitored through Posti's shipment tracking service (https://www.posti.fi/en/tracking).

PAYMENT
Semiphoras offers various payment methods through independent payment services such as Shopify Payments and Paypal.
In countries where Klarna Bank ABservices are available the additional payment methods are as follows: Klarna Bank AB (main office at Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden) / Klarna Oy (business ID: 2247127-6, contact information: Korkeavuorenkatu 34, 00130 Helsinki, Finland phone: +358 9 42599770) serves as the payment service provider and payment facilitator. Payment options offered through Klarna include Klarna Invoice, Klarna Account, debit/credit card payments (Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard), and online bank payments (in Finland: OP, Nordea, Danske Bank, Säästöpankki, Aktia). ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
Our website may occasionally contain information that includes typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, prices, advertisements, offers, product shipping charges, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information or cancel orders at any time without prior notice if the information on the service or related website is incorrect (even after the user has placed an order). This does not limit the consumer's rights under consumer protection laws or other statutory conditions in case of errors.
WARRANTY
The online store does not assume responsibility for warranties granted by previous sales tiers and does not offer warranties itself. The customer accepts this when accepting these terms and conditions. The online store is responsible for products in accordance with consumer protection law liability provisions.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Semiphoras Oy shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages incurred by the customer from the use of the online store or products. The limitation of liability mentioned in this section does not restrict mandatory compensation liabilities under applicable law (such as consumer protection law or tort law).
FORCE MAJEURE
Semiphoras Oy shall not be liable to the customer for damages arising from force majeure or delays caused by force majeure in fulfilling the terms of use or obligations according to the order. Force majeure refers to an unforeseeable event or change in circumstances that is beyond the control of Semiphoras Oy and whose effects Semiphoras cannot avoid or overcome, or the avoidance and overcoming of which would cause unreasonable harm or costs. Examples of force majeure include natural disasters, fires, import and export restrictions, floods, acts of war, terrorist acts, interruption of telecommunications, labor strikes, revolution, pandemic, epidemic, government action, court order, or performance impediment of Semiphoras' subcontractors. Semiphoras is obligated to inform the customer of the presence of force majeure within a reasonable time.
LEGALITY AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Finland. The parties shall seek to primarily resolve any disputes arising from these terms or their application through negotiation. Consumer customers have the right to refer any disputes arising from this agreement to the Consumer Disputes Board. Before processing, the customer must contact the consumer advisory service of the magistrates (https://www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-affairs/consumer-advisory-services/). Due to disputes arising from the contractual relationship, the customer may file a lawsuit against Semiphoras Oy in the district court of Semiphoras' domicile.
