This 140 ml fragrance and ritual water is inspired by the historical fragrance and cleansing traditions associated with Florida Water.
The product contains water, alcohol and essential oils. It contains no synthetic fragrance ingredients. It can be used as a fragrance water, as well as in ritual work connected with symbolic purification, protection and focus.
How to use: Sprinkle a small amount into the room, use it to cleanse and consecrate altars, ritual tools or personal spaces, or dab lightly on the wrists and the third eye area as part of an intuition-focused ritual.
The Florida Water tradition
Florida Water is a citrus, herbal and floral eau de cologne-style fragrance water. Its best-known commercial version was introduced in New York in 1808 by Robert I. Murray. Later known under the Murray & Lanman name, Florida Water has remained one of the best-known historical fragrance waters. Its scent profile is traditionally associated with citrus, lavender, spicy and herbal notes.
Over time, Florida Water has been used not only as a light fragrance, but also in various folk traditions, ritual practices and spiritual cleansing rituals. It is especially known in connection with Latin American, Caribbean and Afro-Caribbean traditions, where it has been used symbolically to cleanse, bless and refresh spaces, altars, ritual tools and the body. These uses are associated with meanings of purity, protection, clarity and new beginnings. However, practices and interpretations vary between different traditions.
