A beautifully shimmering, small piece with bright yellow hemimorphite crystal formations. Hemimorphite is a rare zinc-rich silicate mineral. Its crystal system is an orthorhombic pyramid, and crystallinity is common. The name hemimorphite comes from the Greek words "hemi" which means half and "morph" which refers to shape. Hemimorphite usually occurs in the same deposit with other zinc minerals. Its color varies from colorless to white, grey, blue, purple, pink and various shades of brown. Shades of green and yellow are rarer.
