The Hades crystal grid consists of four raw pieces of the quartz family: golden tiger's eye, carnelian, red jasper, and bloodstone.

• Tiger's eye is known for its characteristic golden-brown color and pattern resembling a tiger's eye.
• The distinguishing feature of carnelian is its reddish or orange color, which can range from clear to translucent to cloudy. This color is due to iron oxides in the mineral's composition.
• Red Jasper is reddish or red in color and can range in shades from light pink to dark red. The red color is caused by minerals such as iron oxide.
• The mineral heliotrope, also known as bloodstone , is a cryptocrystalline mixture of quartz, mainly jasper (opaque) or sometimes chalcedony (translucent). The classic bloodstone is a cloudy green jasper with red hematite crystals. The red crystals can resemble blood spots, hence the name bloodstone.
