The Golden Rider-Waite® Tarot deck presents familiar tarot imagery with a gold-coloured foil finish. The colours of the illustrations stand out against the metallic background, while the light reveals the patterning on the surface of the cards. The card backs are also decorated with gold-coloured sun and star motifs.
The 78-card deck contains 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana cards. Following Rider-Waite imagery, it can be used for tarot readings as well as for exploring individual cards and their symbols. The smooth-surfaced cards are stored in the gold-coloured box supplied with the deck.
Symbolic Meaning
The figures, gestures, colours and objects in tarot cards form a symbolic visual language. The cards can be considered in relation to personal experiences, choices and recurring themes in life. An individual card can also serve as a starting point for meditation or journalling.
