The illustration on the keychain is loosely based on the painting The Birth of Venus by the Italian artist Sandro Botticelli, likely painted in the mid-1480s. It depicts the goddess Venus arriving at the shore after her birth, having emerged from the sea fully grown (this is known as Venus Anadyomene and has been a frequent subject in art). The painting is housed in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy.
