Available in three finishes: gold-coloured, dark steel tone and multicoloured. The gold tone refers to holiness, light and dignity. The dark steel tone adds a sense of shadow, stability and protective strength to the symbol. The multicoloured surface recalls the refraction of light: the same symbol can appear in different shades depending on the viewing angle. This makes the wing a sign of change, journey and the idea that protection or guidance does not always appear in only one form. The amulet is suitable for hanging on a chain and wearing as a personal symbol.

Symbolic Meaning

The wing is an ancient symbol of heaven, movement and spiritual meaning. In the Judeo-Christian tradition, winged beings are especially known from depictions of cherubim and seraphim. In the Book of Exodus, the cherubim on the Ark of the Covenant have wings spread upwards, protectively covering the mercy seat. In Isaiah’s vision, the seraphim have six wings: with two they cover their faces, with two they cover their feet, and with two they fly. In these descriptions, the wing is connected with proximity to the sacred, protection, reverence and a reality beyond the visible world.

In early Christian art, angels were initially often depicted as human-like figures. Wings became established in Christian angel imagery from the late 4th and 5th centuries onwards. From an art-historical perspective, the winged angel was also influenced by ancient winged figures such as Nike and Victoria, who embodied victory. In Christian imagery, the angel’s wing became a sign of heavenly origin and the role of a messenger.

As an amulet, the angel wing carries this long symbolic layering. It may serve as a reminder of protection, guidance and the possibility of turning, even in difficult moments, to something greater than oneself. The wing does not bind the wearer to a single religious interpretation, but reflects support, light and the connection between earth and heaven.
