Ritual herbal blend - Aether - Dedico

Semiphoras' first-class ritual herbal mixtures are made using traditional methods from pure and organic raw materials; from herbs, seeds, roots, berries and flowers. Carefully selected and consecrated ingredients rich in symbolic meaning are carefully dried, ground and mixed into ready-made herbal mixtures. We recommend using herbal mixtures as part of altar and ritual work and during the Purifico, Dedico and Ascendo phases. Ritual herbal mixtures are also suitable for use as potpourri.

In ancient Greek mythology, Aither was the primordial god (protogenos) of light, space and the brightness of the sky. In Hesiod's Birth of the Gods, Aither is the son of Erebus and Nycs and the brother of Hemera. His mother Nyks (personification of night) pulls the dark mist from Erebos across the sky, bringing night below him, while his sister Hemera (day) pulls away the mist to reveal the radiant glow of Aither and brings day. In Greek mythology, the ether was imagined to be pure essence, the upper air in which the gods lived and breathed. It was thus distinguished from the ordinary air breathed by mortals.

Symbol meaning

The most important ingredients of the heavenly and luxurious Aither - Dedico herbal mixture are:

  • Combretum micranthum leaves. The leaves of the African bush are used in Burkina Faso, Sudan and Niger, among other things, in fever-reducing baths, for cold symptoms and in skin care. Known as the "tree of health", the leaves of this plant are also used in ritual baths for spiritual purification and protection from evil spirits and energies.
  • Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) flowers. The plant's Latin name is based on the plant's womb-like flower base (lat. matrix means womb). Perhaps one of the most famous herbs in the world symbolizes renewal, rebirth, peace and femininity. The ancient Egyptians were among the first to cultivate chamomile and use it as medicine. Chamomile was also used in embalming mummies and served as an offering to the Sun God (Ra).
  • Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) seeds. Coriander and its seeds symbolize passion, love and immortality. Coriander seeds have been used for thousands of years as medicine and in various charms and fertility rituals. It is believed that coriander was cultivated in ancient Egypt, because seeds of the plant have been found in Tutankhamun's tomb, among other things, and coriander is mentioned in the medical Ebers Papyrus, which dates back to around 1550 BCE. In ancient Greece, coriander was used in scent mixtures and as a raw material for perfumes.

Ritual use

Ritual Herbal Blend - Purifico: Mix a pinch of Ritual Herbal Blend into consecrated water to increase and target a symbolic, purifying effect. Fill a flat container, for example a sounding bowl, with water and sprinkle in the herbal mixture. You can use the ritual herbal mixture to cleanse a sacred area or space by mixing the herbal mixture directly with the washing water. The trial mixture can also be used like incense. Sprinkle a pinch of the herbal mixture over glowing embers or throw it directly into an open fireplace or campfire.

Ritual Herb Mix - Dedico : Use the Ritual Herb Mix to build an altar or complement and enrich an already existing altar. Strengthen the altar candles by rolling them in a herbal mixture. Sprinkle the ritual herb mixture directly onto the altar, grid, or open container, such as a ritual bowl or seashell. You can also sanctify the desired space by sprinkling the ritual herbal mixture in four different corners of the room. Herbal mixture is also excellently suitable as a component of portable pendants, amulets and Talismans, to remind about the aspirations and the things they represent.

Ritual Herbal Blend - Ascendo: Mix a pinch of ritual herbal blend into the oil. Oil enhanced with a mixture of herbs can be used in anointing, where an object is anointed with oil to symbolize blessing, sanctification, completion or preparation for something important.
