A beautifully shimmering, small specimen with bright yellow hemimorphite crystal formations. Hemimorphite is a rare zinc-rich silicate mineral. Its crystal system is orthorhombic pyramidal, and crystallinity is common. The name hemimorphite comes from the Greek words "hemi" meaning half and "morph" referring to shape. Hemimorphite usually occurs in the same deposit with other zinc minerals. Its color varies from colorless to white, gray, blue, purple, pink, and various shades of brown. Green and yellow shades are rarer.
