Fluorite is known for its exceptional range of colours and its cubic or octahedral crystals. It is a softer decorative stone but highly valued for its optical properties. Fluorite is considered a highly protective and harmonizing stone. It is believed to remove negative energies and stress, cleansing and reorganizing anything in the body that is out of balance. Psychically, fluorite is said to help release rigid behavioural patterns, gently opening the door to the subconscious. It is associated with the zodiac signs Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
